PDG, or pderrigerrio, or any other wild spelling variant is a crazy band that formed at Wesleyan some time ago. Their debut 9-track album titled Talk to My Lawyer was recorded at Wesleyan and produced by Nicole RJ ('16) ( her nickle tapez label just released a wonderful compilation of PDG-affiliated Wes DIY wizardy). Talk to My Lawyer is an unhinged adventure in lo-fi punk free jams. Singalongs, screams, inside-out pop music sculptures, shredding, bleep-bloops, and groovy bass moves—it's all that!
PDG started out as gee'rre with Gee Foley ('16) and Pierre Plantevin ('16) and then expanded to include Theo Sullivan ('16), Dara Mysliwiec ('16) and Chris Mathison. The many spellings of PDG's name speaks to their unpredictable nature. They have performed at many non-traditional venues including the Pine Street Laundry Room and The Steps of North College (pictured above, and not M.A.S.H. sanctioned!). They are about to embark on a tour of the East Coast (at least), and might reach as far as New Orleans and Texas.
