Phonetics
+The Good Lonely
Earth House // Friday 9 PM
Let the quiet intensity of Phonetics build as you ride the syncopated wave of their jazzy alt-rock love child.
The Good Lonely and their garage funk are here for you if you’ve somehow managed to miss out on the band's infectious OOOooooOHs and Ahhhhhs this year.
Fashion Show After Party
Daniel Family Commons // Thursday 11 PM
After the annual WesFest SOC fashion show, NYC-based DJ Saige will transform the Daniel Family Commons (DFC) into a hot, sweaty discotheque. With a classical piano background, DJ Saige mixes and blends your favorite tracks together while adding her own signature sass.
Ladies Night 2.0
Eclectic // Friday 10 PM
The ladies of Eclectic are back and better than ever! Ladies Night 2.0 is a dance party showcasing Wesleyan’s finest female-identifying DJs. Be prepared to dance your heart out. Lineup TBA, but guaranteed to be dope.
THE RACQUETS
+RICO
EARTH HOUSE // FRIDAY 9:30 PM
The Racquets want you to pull your Keds out of the closet and tussle your hair like it's 2001. Smoke a cigarette on the roof once your 'rents are asleep and skip class the next day for a trip to the city. Crafting indie-rock jams with tight, driving rhythms, the Racquets are going to light up the dancefloor, the night, your speakers and other shit. Come to rock out and have a good time.
Rico is a bluesy, funky power trio from right here on campus. They’ll win your hearts and minds with bluesy, funky power.
Zonker Harris Day...
...is a music festival-art smorgasbord-spring time-event for all. On Saturday, WestCo will be your sandbox.
Here are the headliners:
SassyBlack is a Seattle-based hologram funk artist who brings funky bump 'n' grind jams that swirl with celestial synths. When not solo as SassyBlack, she sings with R&B duo THEESatisfaction. Resist the earthward tug and lift off with her slippery jams.
Palm Pilot is a young psychedelic rock band hailing from NYC whose songs float melodic and dreamy. Channeling great vibes, they're notable admirers of Kevin Parker. Their eclectic blend of indie pop, fuzzy psychedelic rock and math rock has garnered considerable hype on /r/tameimpala.
Sensitive Inner Thoughts is the mysterious avant-choralpop project of a notorious turtleneck'ed martian.
Here's the full lineup:
Booby Trap 12-12:15
Dan Beets 12:20-12:30
Slouch 12:30-12:50

LOUDPVCK & Crnkn
+ Kfeelz, Ronbeatz, & DRXNES
Beckham Hall // Saturday 9:30 PM
LOUDPVCK doesn't deal well with quiet hours. Toss. Subtlety will be thrown to the wolves when this big stage electronic act brings their huge EDM sound to Beckham hall. They're planning to riiiiiip through the milieu of mediocre, less-loud indie Wes acts; they're hoping to drop the bass over and over and over again. And again. Don't miss the most unequivocally LIT concert of the semester. Mark your evening for this soirée. Michael Roth will be in the back with enough glo-paint to make your practical idealism a reality.
Crnkn is a big deal. Riding on the high off a coveted spot in the Coachella line-up, LA producer Gabe Baer is making his way to our very own Middletown, bringing with him his adventurous collection of EDM originals and sick remixes.
Come see three of Wesleyan’s finest DJs Kfeelz, Ronbeatz, and DRXNES spin trax (rip wax) to compete for an opening spot at Spring Fling.
Rhys Langston
Senior, Citizen: A Recital
+ Locus & EXistential
Eclectic // Saturday 10:30 PM
Rhys Langston's heady hip-hop dives deep into dizzying wordplay and philosophical musing, his rhymes floating through the jazzy ambiance of inventive, sample-heavy beats. He'll be spitting some new cuts from his soon to be released concept album, over a year in the making, titled Aggressively Ethnically Ambiguous.
Locus is Eric Poretsky's jazz-inflected beat-making project. Psychedelic textures blend into layers of strange, sometimes eerie experimental beats, field sounds with saw waves, and pianos with lawnmowers. Locus is the sounds of space.
EXistential aka Adam Wells (‘19) aka refreshingly aggressive, passionately rapping over beats produced by many of his collaborators without sacrificing the consistent eloquence of his flow.
