Long ago, from the ashes of "Friendsome" rose Linus, an indie pop/shoewave/chillgaze/blues rock group consisting of Dylan Bostick '13 (guitar), Jason Katzenstein '13 (keyboard/vox), Dema Paxton Fofang '13 (guitar/vox), John Snyder '12 (drums/vox) and Ethan Young '13 (bass). They've played nearly every venue on campus and have developed a reputation for impromptu Weezer covers and inspiring crowds to strip down to their superman skivvies. Linus were thrilled to play Spring Fling their Freshman year, opening for Dirty Projectors, The Black Lips, and Big Boi. Their moms thought they did a really good job. After a hiatus the Spring '11 semester, Linus returned in Fall '11 with Adrien Defontaine '13 filling in for Bostick who was inebriated in Bologna for several months.
