A post-chillwave band with neorealist leanings, The Japanese could best be described in one word: friendly. Their live shows are the stuff of legends, eliciting responses as diverse as moshing, removing articles of clothing, and crying. Seriously. On the jeans scale (from original to super skinny) they fall at a comfortable slim fit, tight enough to indicate they know about music but not tight enough to be pretentious about it. They also don't take themselves too seriously. At least that's what the ACB said. They'll be returning to campus in the spring of 2012.
Comprised of Adrien DeFontaine, Neo Sora, Will Solomon and Dan Moakley (all '13)
