HONEY AND THE STING

Members: Sam Long ('12), Howe Pearson ('12), Mel Hsu ('13), Gemma Smith ('13), and Jessica Best ('14) Bio: Honey and the Sting is a soulful folk band that grew out of Sam Long's joint environmental science and music thesis.  The band recently finished writing a 10 song album about the Connecticut River with the intention of connecting people everywhere with their local resources.  By researching the river's fascinating history, biology, and geology while also connecting with the river spiritually, Honey and the Sting hopes to bring a refreshing integrative experience to its audience.
