—flanging out quirky sounds on the smooth, dusty hardwood of houses around campus. Or not! It's quite likely some of these artists have not yet made it into your ears, in which case  this is an especially sweet treat of a release.  

In Nicole's own words: the project "is called Area 1, Area 2... Friends and Lovers 2016 Compilation... originally the title Area 1, Area 2 was considered for the title of the Pidare y Gerreo album because it was recorded in two different plays on two different days—but I adapted the title with the '...' to represent the many many different areas in which these songs were recorded! And the 'friends and lovers' because these ppl are friends... and lovers! The roster of ex and current Wesleyan artists featured on the tape are: Me, and Pierre and Luke Macdonald (of Sloopy Coos Canyon/puhdarre ee jarryy-o/murdertones/Lunch Cult), Lauren Burke, Theo Sullivan  (Rachel Connor's Picture Show), Gla M and Gee Foley (Clo$et) and Liz Cettina, Joseph Eusebio, and Regina Melady (the naustrils)—many of these ppl are cross-listed—having been in many different Wesleyan bands!"
