Thursday March 30th in Muho…
For the first time in a full decade, we are bringing back “Aural Wes Presents”. The last time this club brought an artist to campus was in 2013, and we were so honored to have Katy Davidson of Dear Nora play for us last week.
Students packed like indie sardines into the Muho living room - sitting shoulder to shoulder on a Thursday night. Billy Hue (AKA Nate Uberuaga) opened up the show with his inventive original songs, complimented by his unique guitar style.
Katy’s first time on campus was back in 2018, not too long after releasing Skulls Example - five months after to be precise. Why is this important? Fast forward to a few weeks ago and Katy is here in Music House having released another album - you guessed it - five months prior! Coincidence? I say we leave this one up for the readers…
Katy filled the room with their unique lyrical insight and plucking electric guitar riffs that made 202 wash feel more like a cool, cozy, late August night. Suffice it to say, the vibes were immaculate.
