Gladiator (+ Ŕaene 雨, Hirozawa, & Pearl )

Eclectic // Saturday 10:00 PM

Facebook event

Dan Goodman and Ian Johnson '11 are Gladiator,  your dream trap music duo.  They're based in LA, but they've played a large range of venues throughout the world, bringing their energy and entertainment to packed nightclubs and large festivals. Even during their rise to fame within the EDM scene, they've retained their originality and uniqueness,  amplifying each set with a healthy dose of nerdy quirkiness that matches their vibrant personalities. They wanna make you turn up--their pounding, rhythmic bass drum hits and crisp synth sounds are sure to do just that.

Opening for Gladiator are members of Wes's DJs and Producers Club. They'll provide some sick beats, twisting together EDM genres to bring you a crushing start to your evening.

YAIRMS (+ AlHHLA, FAMILY PLANNING, & SLOOPY COOS CANYON)

ART/MUSIC HOUSE // SATURDAY 10:00 PM

Facebook event

Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, Yairms has made a recent splash appearing on a debut split EP with Alhhla. Their raw rhythmic sound is accompanied by soaring vocals and uncompromising hooks, creating a sonic blend appealing to fans of punk and indie alike. Like White Reaper? Listen to Yairms! Like Fleet Foxes? Check out Yairms! Basically, you should be listening to Yairms right now. Or on Saturday. At ArtMuho.

New Mexico group AlhhlA’s sound is made up of a blend of sick electric guitar riffs, complicated heavy beats, and a little unplaceable magic. They’ve has been touring alongside Yairms for the better part of 2015, spreading their brand of experimental pop across the country.

A baby, an ugly pig's head, a dancing monster, a yellow raincoat, a high grav forty, and a thousand cakes; apparently all these things describe Family Planning. Hailing from the depths of somewhere in Maine, this self-described avant-garde easy listening takes a cacaphony of soothing and frantic guitar riffs, high-twingy vocals, cool and strange lyrics and ties it all into upbeat songs you can’t help groovin to.

Sloopy Coos Canyon, composed of Erin McGrath (‘16), Nicole Roman-Johnston (‘16) and Luke Macdonald (‘17) played a kickin’ MASH set, and now they’re back with more “blood rock,” ready to take on ArtMuHo!
