You like Bruce Springsteen? Or The Replacements? Or rad guitar things? Of course you do, cool guy. Then come see Featherwood Bee, one of Wesleyan's most prolific rock n' roll bands this weekend in the WestCo Cafe! Last year, these dudes opened up for bands like Mac Demarco, Warm Soda, and Fletcher C. Johnson. Radical! The Pluto Moons, South Station, Ari & Arian // Earth House // 9:30 PM

NYC-based band The Pluto Moons  are making the trek up to Wesleyan for a set at Earth House this weekend. These guys describe themselves as "concrete pop real ass shit", so you'll probably have a cool time or whatever. Opening up will be BuHo-based blues band South Station and resident Earth House rappers Ari & Arian. Scope the event page here.

Saint Rich, Verdigirls // WestCo Cafe // 10 PM

Did you go to the Delicate Steve show last semester? You probably should've.  Well, either way it doesn't matter because 1/2 of the band will be back with their new project Saint Rich.  These guys sound like Delicate Steve with more vocals; that is, all-the-more-killer guitar pop. They've also been getting quite a lot of press from SPIN and Pitchfork about their new record out last month on Merge, Beyond the Drone,  so don't miss out on this killer guitar riffage! Opening the show will be Connecticut band Verdigrls, a sister duo that brings to mind 60s girl groups like the Shangri-Las and Dusty Springfield. Check out some more info on the show here.
