We know, we know, it snowed it's cold, but holy sh*t, this weekend is stacked with performances that are worth trudging through the slush for. Come party with DJ's at Malcolm X house, thrash with Aye Nako or groove out to some next level R&B with James Tillman. Warm your bones by the proverbial fire, make some friends out in the winter wonderland. It's gonna be a blast.

JAMES TILLMAN (+ THE GOOD LONELY)

EARTH HOUSE // FRIDAY 9:30PM

Facebook Event

Self described as a “Zen noise maker,” James Tillman creates delicately layered, soft-edged tunes, with a balanced mix of jazz guitar, fuzzy synth effects and complex harmonies that carries as much influence from Corinne Bailey Rae as Syd Barrett. A Maryland native, Tillman recently released his first full album, Soft Noise Reflex. Don’t miss this guy’s soft, honeyish, masseuse-like voice this weekend.

Groovy, on-campus trio the good lonely return to Earth House where they will make you feel right at home with tight, dance-funk tunes.

AYE NAKO (+ DARK CIRCLES, MALLRAT, & GIRLTYPE BEHAVIORS)

Dark Circles are your favorite QTPOC pop punk cover band returning to campus to remind you of the days when you dyed your hair neon colors and play some originals

MALLRAT are gay angels making songs about living in a racialized, gendered, traumatized body. melo and ro are both fire signs and em is a libra
