Molly Rocket (+ Soren Bryce & Rui Barbosa)

Westco CAFE // SATURDAY 9:30PM

Facebook Event

Molly Rocket performs groovy rock with soulful infusion. Molly Balsam ('14) and Atticus Swartwood ('14) are returning to rock n roll your souls after 3 long years away from where it all started (well if we're getting technical it began in lorise A6). Click here to listen to their tunes!

Soren Bryce of Brooklyn performs emotionally layered synth-pop/alternative rock. Described as "James Blake with better hooks." Check the Facebook event page for links to her music.

Rui Barbosa is trio of progressive-jazz-funk-jam power musicians. They released an EP about *Steve*.

Girltype Behaviors (+ The Purple Windsounds, DJ Fuck What's My Name & Umami Goddess)

EARTH HOUSE // SATURDAY 10:00PM

Facebook Event

Girltype Behaviors has been described as "elevator music for kids who are too young to feel nostalgic for riot grrrl but do anyway." It's "snack punk" with loads of guitar sounds carried through with sweet synth-y layers. Come check it out and bring clothes to donate for Sunday's clothing if you have some lying around :))

The Purple Windsounds love the environment and so should you. They'll grace you with biting avant-garde and fluorescent alt-post-not-rock. Using a theremin, distorted acoustic guitars, and 7 minute sonic journeys, Purple Windsound’s eclectic shows end up at places that they didn’t start.

After the two bands, Dj Fuck What's My Name and Umami Goddess will carry you through to a wild dance party. Get a lil preview of Umami Goddess's set below.
