Though scheduled to play at Wesleyan in October, King Tuff sadly had to cancel, leaving us without his stoned-out glam-pop. But if you still have an itch for some garage pop jams (and who doesn't?), come down to the WestCo Cafe this Thursday, November 29th to get down to the irresistible, radio-ready vibes of Fletcher C. Fletcher C. Johnson - Messin' Up My Mind
Fletch grew up with Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff) and used to play in Tuffy's band. Unsurprisingly, he and his band craft similarly catchy pop tunes, albeit with a bit more twang. Fletcher's fantastic sophomore album Salutations was just released by Burger Records and contains some of most infectious, danceable, and altogether beautiful pop music in recent memory.
