GROUNDISLAVA // OORUTAICHI @ WESTCO CAFE

Friday is a eventful night, but when you're done having fun with Joey Bada$$ at Psi U, you should head to the WestCo Cafe where electronic artists, Oorutaichi and Groundislava, will be playing late into the night! Groundislava (AKA Jasper Patterson) comes all the way from Venice, California where he is an established member of Shlohmo's Wedidit crew (featuring other artists such as Juj, Jonwayne, and RL Grime). He released a full length album on Friends of Friends this past August and it's simply phenomenal. Through mixing interesting hip hop beats with an obvious videogame nostalgia and putting it all over beautiful soundscapes, Groundislava puts out some of the most interesting music that you all want to hear.
