Sneaky Boy + M.E.G + Chava Friedland

Earth House // Friday 9pm

Facebook Event

Sneaky Boy playing indie rock
Sneaky Boy wearing indie socks
They’ll be sneaking in your ears
Playing in front of their peers
Guitars that go ‘bwah’ and drums that go ‘thump’
Show up for a rockin’ time that's gonna bump.

         -Dr. Seuss ‘2017

MEG cruise their way through breezy, blissful indie rock that's just right for a sunny afternoon or, in this case, a freezing Connecticut winter night. Feat. intertwining guitars with bright jangling reverb and vocals with just the right amount of slacker sleaze, MEG pontificates with a High Life in hand.

Chava Friedland will be playing a solo set to open the night. Come early to hear her play!

Rui Barbosa + Bonanza

Music House // Friday 10pm

Facebook Event

Rui Barbosa is playing the release show for their first EP, entitled “An EP Named Steve.” Composed of Adam Rochelle ‘17, Johnnie Gilmore ‘18, and Jonah Wolfson ‘17,  Wesleyan’s premier progressive-jazz-funk-jam power trio consistently rock the house, known for consistently pulling shenanigans to rile up the crowd. They’re incredibly tight and virtuosic but retain all the fun you’d want at a Wes show. Expect special guests, and be sure to check out “An EP Named Steve” following the show!

Bonanza is Matthew Forker '19, Lily Landau '18, Jeremy Freeman '18, Aili Arakida-Izsak '19, and AJ Girard '18. They're playing their first show together - though you may remember some of the members from Dinomanic. Expect funkiness, harmonies, and groove.
