Future club Top 40 exorcism. Avant-funkdrone trippers. An intimate experience not called Chana. Indie-rock kegger. Cover band cage fight. Warm fella rock. Beloved alum rock. Nice semest. Bye!

Phatrabbit
+Bossy

Art/Music House // Thursday 9:30 PM

Facebook Event

Phatrabbit is a group of fellas. These dudes play indie rock with guitars and sing/yelp/bellow out some catchy tunes. Catch these sensitive bad boys swapping instruments on stage with ease and singing about teen heartbreak. Dance the obese mammalian night away to their sweet, sweet jams.

With scabs on their knees and grass stains on their asses, Bossy is a new band on campus. They play a mixture of scrappy music that’s not quite punk, not quite pop and definitely not brostep. Come to dance, soak in your angst and perhaps shed a couple of tears.

Now that's bossy.

Now that's bossy.

Horse Lords

Middle House // Thursday 9:30 PM

Facebook Event

Horse Lords  are Baltimore, MD avant-funkdrone trippers, tweaking and shrieking their way through the evolving wilds of a post-jazz sandscape. Blending sax, guitar, experimental theory and guitar mods, Horse Lords brings bizarro grooves into contact with polyrhythms, drone and spazzy Zappa-Esque freak outs. Special appearances by the Wesleyan equestrian team (cross your fingers). Bow to your horse leaders!

THE KEG CO-OP CONCERT
FT. HENRY HALL & TROT FOX

20B FOUNTAIN // THURSDAY 9:30 PM

Facebook Event

Henry Hall (‘14), who some may remember from his Grand Cousin days, is returning to campus this weekend as part of his spring tour with Trot Fox. His solo work is "kind of an extension of [Grand Cousin], moving in a direction that’s more personal to [him]." Pairing swoon-worthy melodies with ambient synths, Henry creates poppy tunes that are complemented by his edgy, unique falsetto voice.

Trot Fox is a band from NYC with some members that some of you may remember as recent Wes alumni. The soul/r&b/rock quartet plays music that will indubitably make you groove in space. Look forward to their new upcoming EP. They may even surprise you with a cover or two, but you will have to come and see!

5 Guys
+ McLeary, McLeary & Dark Circles

Earth House // Friday 10:00 PM

Facebook Event

5 Guys is five men. Or five dudes.  Five boys.  Not five Guy Fieris. <3

Now those are 5 (five) guys.

Now those are 5 (five) guys.

McLeary McLeary, drunk on the dense rays of a summer sun, lopes down the sidewalk, making sure to step on every crack. They're not worried about the passing cars. They don't care about the impending deadlines. It's all passing by, either side, HD, 5.2 Dolby digital stereo ; alive with internal energy. It's alternative, it's indie, it's whatever. It just makes sense.

Dark Circles is a perfect throwback to the Golden Age of pop-punk, playing kick-ass covers of Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, and Green Day classics. Don’t forget to turn on your angstiest AIM away message before coming to the show. If you want to know what they’re really about... consume the content below.

All-Caps LADD
+ Ives & Sneaky Boy

Earth House // Saturday 9:30 PM

Facebook Event

Wes alum rockers all-caps LADD make a triumphant return to campus after holding domain over tight, thrifty alt-pop for the last two years. Featuring wire-tight guitars, raw vocals and driving bass, they funnel indie through a strainer - each instrumental line taut and humming with energy.

Ives’ songs are full of light, shimmery static sounds mixed with dark undertones of electronic beats intertwined with Anna Schwab’s mellifluous vocals.  Branching out from her previous project, Schwab, Ives’ songs are unique gems that stir up a warm feeling of intimacy while simultaneously filling a room with soaring waves of sounds.

With a Wesleyan debut at Awesomefest under their belts, Sneaky Boy is a band of four frosh that plays fun indie rock songs that will get you up, off your feet and grooving to some cool tunes.

Now that's a sneaky boy.

Now that's a sneaky boy.
