ZAMMUTO SHOW NOTES
On Saturday night Eclectic's doors were temporarily unshackled (thanks MC Apper '13!) for "Zammuto (of the books), Snow Blind, and The Japanese: A WESUConcert." Seven of our writers were there, in various states of sobriety, taking notes:
4:20 - Mickey calls me to let Zammuto into Eclectic. I introduce myself and am surprised by the way they look. Maybe I'm too used to young Brooklyn types coming here… [chels]
11:12 - Japanese got me dancin. SBTRKT cover = cool [albert]
11:12 - just remembered we're doing this. Japanese covered little dragon lmao. it was awesome [ex post facto: by little dragon I meant sbtrkt ft little dragon] [cal]
11:34 - noting heavy security presence [isaac]
11:35 - girl actually using spotify to figure out who the opener is [matt]
11:40 - I kinda wish snowblink was just a band about a winking polar bear. an ace Whitney cover though. [eric]
12:00 - zammuto comes forth. Hyped about vocals. [eric]
12:00 - Zammuto's use of a countdown before they started their set was very effective. It helped end all of the loud conversations the crowd was having. The conversations that are pretty rude and disrespectful to the performers and usually extremely disruptive to the live music experience. [chels]
12:01 - ipad setup is so 21st century i can't even take it [elijah]
12:03 - feel like i'm in the most wondrous road-trippin video game [elijah]

12:25 - I forgot about taking notes. Cal reminded me. Zammuto has super on point visuals. [albert]

12:27 - the crowd is so loud! Albert consoles noting that it is quite large [cal]
