Disney Concert (ft. Rui Barbossa, Slavei & Friends)

Alpha Delt // FRIDAY 10:00 PM

Facebook Event

These guys did this thing last year! If you like Disney shows, come check it out!

Slavei is Wes's oldest, (and zainest) Balkan a cappella group!!

Yatta & Umami Goddess

Earth House // FRIDAY 11:00 PM

Facebook Event

YATTA is a sierra-leonean american digipoet & performer who remixes shamanic sounds with her jazz vocals to create music to lie down in. A former Flux Factory resident, she currently works as the Operations Coordinator of the Silent Barn DIY Collective. Her work has been featured in Rookie Magazine, Dazed, Mask Magazine, and more.

Producing and playing music under the name umami goddess™, Rick Hong Manayan’s set is guaranteed to make you want to dance. If you’ve had SH3’s hit single ru4fake? stuck in your head since last semester, come to Earth House and you won’t be disappointed.

Elysia Crampton & Cole

Music House // Friday 10:30 PM

Facebook Event

Although they've been releasing music for nine years, Elysia Crampton’s recent work has gained acclaim for its pointed statements on the oppression of indigenous peoples, Latinx people, and many others. On their second album, Demon City, they convey the lost histories of Latin America through their experimental electronic soundscapes. On some songs you get the urge to dance and on some, the raw emotion felt by Crampton, themself both queer and Latina, is pushed to the forefront. Regardless, the sonic blend on Demon City is definitely a force to be reckoned with. And don’t miss Elysia Crampton’s lecture at 5 pm in Boger 112

Cole makes intriguing electronic music in a vein similar to Elysia Crampton but with R&B-style vocals that punch through the layers of electronics, not unlike the bizarre electronica of Clarence Clarity. Be sure to check them out.

Jeff the Brotherhood (+ Flaccid Ashbacks & Disco Cream

Westco Cafe // Saturday 10:30 PM

Facebook Event

Jeff the Brotherhood is a garage rock two-piece, consisting of brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall from Nashville. They’ve been around for a while - they have 10 studio albums, so you’ll have plenty of material to prepare yourself. They play melt-your-face, brash guitar music. Get ready for high decibel levels and tons of energy!

Flaccid Ashbacks is releasing their album after this show! Check out their single below!

Disco Cream is from Skidmore. They already played once here this semester, and it was rad. They are also the first non-Wes band to record in Red Feather.

Wesleyan Refugee Project Benefit (Girltype Behaviors, Chef, & the good lonely)

Music House // Saturday 9:00 PM

Facebook Event

This is a three part fundraiser concert! All benefits go toward the International Refugee Assistance Project, an organization providing international legal services to refugees and displaced people, as well as organizing lawsuits and policy advocacy related to the travel ban. It’s a minimum $3 donation at the door, and feel free to give more — it’s all going towards an important cause. Find out more about the Refugee Assistance Project.

Girltype Behaviors have a massive sound, with incredibly energetic vibes and kickass solos.

Chef is so large! They play fusion music. Come see all of them play their fusion music.

The Good Lonely play tight, funky dance tunes, with super impressive synchronization and keyboard skills. There’s three of them!
