LEAVES OF GREEN
New York folksters Leaves of Green are piling into Earth House for an expectedly uplifting set this Saturday- close quarters are what this show calls for as the four-piece lays down its thick, drifting brand of indie-rock. This promises to be an intimate, but exciting set. Singer-songwriter James Madole’s sweet falsetto tends to glide over spare, yet wieldy instrumentals on this band’s lighter tracks- these guys can be, however, downright engaging when they need to be. Earth House will be swaying with shared feeling and bursting with energy as they lay into the set - after resident openers/charmers-in-their-own-right Blackbird and the Cherry Tree and O Presidente (who not long ago released their rockin’ debut).
Sally on by to Earth House at 10pm Saturday for your heart warmed.
