Liz Pelly, author of Mood Machine, is coming to Wesleyan this Thursday, April 17th! Covered in publications like The New Yorker, The Washington Post, and Harper’s, Pelly’s book chronicles her investigation into the bizarre inner workings of Spotify and its war on silence — and, in turn, how Spotify’s dominance has affected our relationship with music.
This lecture will be taking place on campus in Exley 058, from 6:30 to 7:30pm, and it is open to the public. Pelly will also be bringing copies of Mood Machine to sell. The lecture will be livestreamed on Zoom for people who can’t make it in person (send us a message for the link).
